Tina Charles "The Celebration Mixes" Remix Competition Winners Announced

Results of the Tina Charles "The Celebration Mixes" remix competition for her 1976 disco classic "I Love to Love (But My Baby Loves to Dance)." The iconic hit, which topped charts in ten countries and earned Charles a certified gold album as an emerging British artist, has been reimagined by 60 producers worldwide. Twenty standout remixes have been selected for The Celebration Mixes Volume 1, set for release in June 2026 across major platforms including Beatport, Traxsource, Juno, iTunes, and Spotify, featuring diverse interpretations from Sanny X (Club Mix and Classic '87 Mix), Tony Postigo (Stadium Mix), DeusExMaschine, Bustafunk, and more. An additional forty remixes will be released exclusively on Spotify as The Celebration Mixes Volume 2, including the Simon Harris Classic '76 Mix.

As a special bonus, any remix from either volume that reaches 1,000,000 plays or more on Spotify within one year of the June 2026 release date will be pressed as a Special Limited Edition Release on vinyl. This milestone reward recognizes exceptional streaming performance and provides fans with collectible physical editions of the most popular remixes, celebrating the timeless quality of Tina Charles' music and its ability to inspire new generations of producers.
