The Wooden Sky

Toronto natives "The Wooden Sky" are a band that breaks boundaries between folk, alternative-country, and classic rock. Their honest lyrics and ambient grit creates harmonious layers that push the envelope, developing a fresh sound and strengthening the range of their collective voice. Since their conception in 2006, they have put out six albums, and toured with top Canadian acts including Elliott Brood, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and Yukon Blonde.

Their most recent album "Let’s Be Ready" amassed buzz with the press. It was named Exclaim! Magazine's Number One Folk Album of 2014, and garnered the 4th pick on The Huffington Posts Best of 2014 list. As Sirius XM Indie Award winners for "Folk Act of the Year, and Polaris Prize and Juno nominees, The Wooden Sky continues to excite fans with what's new and fresh in the folk scene.
