Jonaz

"Do songs for pleasure, without following any rules," - Jonaz responds on why to follow through his career as a soloist, for the launch of his video "Netflix & Chill" on August 31, 2017.

Founder of the legendary band Plastilina Mosh, in which he continues to participate in, Jonaz says "to this day it satisfies my creative needs and I have a lot of fun."

Distinguishing himself as a person who does not leave unfulfilled goals and desires, in 2012 he created the shock band called “Band of Bitches”, with which he satiated his need to appear before the public in a rather mysterious way, without showing the bands faces nor revealing their identities and exempting each of them from individual protagonism.

After a few years and with the restless spirit to be feel fully free he unmasks his face and presents himself in his most sincere and candid version – simply as Jonaz. Taking a firm grip on the reins of his decisions and without worrying about the consensus of his choices and without following any rules. He simply says, "I just want to make rolls and spend it cool."

With no time to lose, Jonaz launches his first video as a solo artist "Picosa", a mix of cumbia, rock and hip hop. It is released with an adventurous nature and manages to receive a positive feedback from  Radio Formula and Kuadro Magazine.  “Picosa” also lands being programmed on different video channels of videos, such as TeleHit, Ritmoson and MTV, as well as on CdMx, all of this is in addition to the single receiving media in Spain and South America.

August 25th was the street date of "Mi Primer Disco" (My First Album). It includes the aforementioned singles and much more great music. Simultaneous to its digital release, in Mexico the album was also released in retro the configurations of both L.P. and Cassettes.

“Netflix & Chill” along with the collaboration of Victoria Kühne, founder of one of the biggest studios in Latin America (Victoria Records), is released as a single on August 31, 2017. This single contains elements such of disco and electro-dance, as well as Jonaz's irreplaceable humor, with parodies of different iconic television series such as Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, and of course Game of Thrones, in perfect allusion to the name of the single.

October 12, 2017 also saw the launch of the single and video "Bai-lando en la Calle" feat: El Gran Silencio.
