Kids in America

Kids In America is a band with a “big tent” philosophy of creating music and
collaborating with other artists in a way that invites everyone to let loose and let
go. The band has created a modern twist on the classic California sound, the
1970’s Laurel Canyon scene and those endless summer days that go on forever.
Formed by Paul Hammer and Curtis Peoples who are well known songwriters
and artists in their own right, Kids in America has burst on to the scene with their
debut single “Summer of Love” and then followed that up with hit singles “La La”
featuring the band The Mowglis and “Afterlife” featuring the artist LUNA AURA.
In a matter of months the band has quickly accumulated over 5 million of streams
from all around the world and been added to multiple editorial playlists at Spotify,
Amazon Music, Apple Music, Youtube Music and others as well as garnering
multiple features at radio including multiple placements on Advanced Placement
on SiriusXM's AltNation.
Press notices for Kids In America right out of the gate have been glowing with
Esquire Magazine saying “Summer of Love gives you hooks on hooks,
harmonies for days and a sound palette pitched directly at alternative radio” and
Billboard Magazine saying “This debut single by Kids in America is a no-brainer
addition to your playlist…and will stick in your head long after the sun sets.”
Kids In America are currently finishing their debut album, which will be released
in 2021 through Rix Records / The Orchard. Kids in America are managed by
Jonathan Pardo at Free Association and Seth Kallen at This Fiction
