
Chayanne, a world-renowned Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and actor, has solidified his success with more than 50 million albums sold, sold-out tours, starring and guest starring roles in film, soap operas and television series, numerous chart-topping hits, and hundreds of music industry awards. He has recorded 24 albums to date via Sony Music, that include songs that have consistently topped radio charts with 28 reaching the "Hot Latin Songs" chart, the fourth most chart-topping artist in the list’s history.
Most recently, he released “Te Amo y Punto,” which peaked in the Top 50 of Billboard’s “Latin Digital Song Sales,” “Latin Airplay” and “Latin Pop Airplay” charts. It marks his first release since 2018, following his three singles “Di Que Sientes Tú,” “Que Me Has Hecho” Ft. Wisin and “Choka-Choka” Ft. Ozuna. His album Grandes Éxitos, was his longest-charting album at No. 1 on the “Latin Pop Albums” chart, with a total of 10 weeks at the summit.
As an actor, he has appeared in various mini-series, soap operas in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Argentina. He starred in the films “Los Chicos En Conexion Caribe,” “Linda Sara” and “Dance with Me” alongside Vanessa Williams. On TV, he starred in the soap opera “Provócame,” made a guest appearance in the TV series “Ally McBeal” and played “Gabriel” in the highly acclaimed, first ever mini-series in Spanish.
Beyond his professional work, Chayanne is devoted to giving back to those in need. He has been a spokesperson for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since 2014 Chayanne is one of the American Red Cross’ Ambassadors and receiver of the Prestigious Crystal Cross Award for his involvement with the American Red Cross and the 100 Days of Summer campaign since 2014 to encourage the Latin community to donate blood.
