June 04, 2012 (Los Angeles, CA) – Nettwerk recording artist, Family Of The Year partners with Consequence Of Sound to share the official music video for “Diversity” from their much-anticipated studio album, Loma Vista (out July 10).

Directed by Danielle Katvan, the video was filmed in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles, CA.  Matching the track’s energy, the video concept highlights the band’s creative personality while incorporating a great performance.  Without giving too much away, the folks in the video remove parts of the set, piece by piece; including the band's shoes, shirts, pants...

Out now, Diversity, a four song EP of the single includes two album tracks (“Diversity” and “Stairs”), a remix of “Diversity” and a previously unreleased track, “She Wants To Talk.”

FOTY will be sharing the stage with Milo Greene on select east coast dates.  Having just announce details of Loma Vista, the band is excited to hit the road to perform the new songs and already-familiar tracks from last year’s St. Croix EP; which was heralded by NPR as “ebullient, full of stylistic left turns” and “intense and atmospheric” by Rolling Stone.

Formed in 2009, the band has accomplished a healthy dose of success in such a short amount of time.   The members have formed unbreakable bonds that are undeniable in their infectious live performances and prolific songwriting.  The band has already played sold-out shows in England and across Europe, including a triumphant set at France’s renowned music festival Les Vieilles Charrues, and garnered additional support stints with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Mumford & Sons, Grouplove, Good Old War and Belle Brigade.

For additional tour information, stay tuned in the coming days.
