This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Mushroom Music in the Americas, connecting the company’s world-class Australian and New Zealand songwriters and catalogues with peermusic’s longstanding reputation for championing independent music.
It's a natural fit, with both companies sharing a fiercely independent ethos, a commitment to nurturing songwriters and a focus on delivering an enhanced experience.

Through the deal, peermusic will work with Mushroom Music's diverse and iconic catalogue featuring works by Kylie Minogue, Tobiahs, Amy Shark, Budjerah, Emily Wurramara, Bliss n Eso, Mia Wray, Hunters & Collectors, The Angels, Gordi, Middle Kids, Dan Sultan, Skyhooks, Yothu Yindi, and Archie Roach.
As two of the world’s most respected independent publishers, they share a belief in doing business differently; prioritising creativity, authenticity and genuine relationships, combining global reach with the flexibility and personal touch that sets them apart.
Under the new agreement, peermusic will handle Mushroom’s contemporary and legacy catalogue across copyright registration, royalty collection, sync, and creative opportunities, further strengthening Mushroom’s international reach and exposure for its writers.
