peermusic-represented works resonated throughout the 25th edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. peermusic UK signing AURORA debuted her new collaborative project TOMORA with The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands, performing tracks from their new album Come Closer. Justin Bieber performed "No Pressure" (produced by Poo Bear and The Audibles) with surprise guest Big Sean. Sunday headliner Karol G, the first Latina to headline Coachella, performed an interpretation of Totó La Momposina's "El pescador" (written by José Barros) and "Tropicoqueta" (which samples Perez Prado's classic "Mambo No. 5") while Major Lazer delivered their global smash "Lean On" (co-produced by DJ Snake). DJ Snake made a surprise appearance on weekend two bringing his Pardon My French takeover to the Quasar stage. HUGEL brought his massive "Bella Ciao" remix to his set. And K-pop superstar TAEMIN made history as the first Korean male solo artist to perform at Coachella, premiering six unreleased songs including "Sober" (co-written by Chris Wahle) and "Parasite" (co-written by Andreas Ohrn).
