2x GRAMMY® and 2x Latin GRAMMY® nominee Lupita Infante has released her fourth studio album, Aunque Me Duela, her most vulnerable project to date. The eight-track album embraces the raw, unvarnished heart of ranchera music, featuring a standout collaboration with Leonardo Aguilar, grandson of Antonio Aguilar, alongside previously released tracks "Con Todo Respeto" and "Prenderte Una Vela." "I chose songs that truly embody the spirit of ranchera, a sound that is gritty, raw, and open, where the lyrics are very vulnerable and even dramatic," Infante explains. "Sometimes it feels good to be sad. There's something in ranchera music that provides an outlet to that feeling."

The album arrives just seven months after La Corona Es Mía, and follows Infante's recent performance at the May 1st March and Rally in Los Angeles, where she showed support for immigrant rights and worker protections. As the granddaughter of legendary Mexican icon Pedro Infante, Lupita continues her family's storied musical legacy while creating new repertoire for mariachi and championing the genre's evolution.
