Jona Camacho debuts irresistible new single and music video 'Está Bn' highlighting his captivating voice

Los Angeles, CA (April 5, 2019). Extraordinarily accomplished composer, singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jona Camacho is a musical phenomenon unlike any other emerging Latin artist working today. Already a sensation in his native Colombia, the gifted musician is now importing his uniquely distinct sounds to the U.S. with today’s debut of his latest single “Está Bn.”

The irresistible Spanish-language track highlights Camacho’s captivating voice delivering seductive lyrics to a beat that’s at once refreshing and timeless. His style borrows notes from Rock, Pop, and R&B to create a marvelous fusion that’s truly his own. The music video for “Está Bn” was shot in Bogota, Colombia under the direction of Mateo Moya from Roble Films.

Born in Ibague, Colombia, Jona Camacho honed his impressive vocal abilities since he was a teenager studying classical music and percussion. He later dabbled into orchestration and taught himself how to play a variety of instruments, including the drums, guitar, piano, banjo, and the accordion. This self-acquired knowledge expanded his musical range and allowed him to develop an incomparable musical vision with a great repertoire of abilities. 

“I grew up listening to vinyl records of Stevie Wonder, Barry White and Colombian artists like Grupo Niche.  I carry them all with me every time I write and produce my songs.  ‘Está Bn’ is a reflection of all of their influence and my respect for classic Soul and R&B,” said Jona Camacho about the origins of his sound. 

Following his enriching time as part of the Colombian band Radiosuite, Camacho released his first single as a solo artist titled “The Way You Are” in 2014, which was part of his 2015 debut album entitled ‘Transformation’. Two years later, in 2017, the EP ‘Sincopado, Vol 1’ hit the market and included the track “Dulce Vino,” which became a notable hit with impressive streaming numbers on all digital platforms

Last year, Jona Camacho took a major step in his rising career when he signed a worldwide publishing deal with peermusic in the USA. The deal was immediately followed by the release of the ‘Sincopado, Vol 2’ EP.

Proving his alluring charm, audiences around the world are falling in love with Jona Camacho’s music through Apple Music’s recently released playlist titled “Suave,” which focuses on R&B in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. In addition to ‘Está Bn’ being added this week, two other of Camacho’s tracks were already part of it for its initial launch on March 21: ’Soy Un Loco’ and ‘Más’, which he created with Fer Casillas.
