
Miami, FL (May 10, 2024) – peermusic, the world’s largest global independent music publishing and neighbouring rights company with 39 offices in 32 countries, has signed Vladimir Muñoz, professionally known as Vladi Cachai, to an exclusive, worldwide publishing deal as announced today by Elizabeth Rodda, President, Latin America and Global Society Relations, peermusic. The deal was signed by peermusic Spain and peermusic Chile, and encompasses Vladi Cachai’s existing song catalog and future works.
Vladi Cachai is a renowned and award-winning Chilean producer and songwriter who has collaborated on tracks with some of the biggest names in Latin music, such as Ozuna’s “Isla Desierta”; Paloma Mami’s “Don’t Talk About Me”; Ivy Queen’s “Bye Bye” as well as collaborations with Don Omar, Gloria Trevi, Bryant Myers, J Quiles, and Nacho, amongst many others. As one of Chile’s most internationally recognized producers, and bringing over fifteen years of industry experience, Vladi’s songs have been featured in advertising campaigns with Telethon, Pepsi, Copa América (TVN, MEGA), reality television productions, as well as Tiempo en el canal Mega. Having worked with many Chilean artists, Vladi is the name behind the decks of many music releases from Chile.

Born in Valparaíso, Cachai worked alongside DJ Méndez, with whom he made several hits from the Gold certified album Made in Chile (2010. Cachai produced singles “Playing With Fire” and “Mi Chile”, the latter being chosen as the title song for the Cup América 2011 on National Television of Chile (TVN). He has collaborated with world-class artist Don Omar when producing the remix of the renowned single “Taboo”. He also collaborated with Gloria Trevi and Mónica Naranjo on the single “Grande”—in less than 24 hours the song went #1 in Spain and trending on YouTube. Cachai was also an engineer for Venezuelan artist Nacho (of duo Chino & Nacho) in the production of the album UNO, which is RIAA certified 2X Platinum in the United States.
Upon arriving in Miami, Cachai collaborated with Ozuna to co-write the song “Isla Desierta” from his EP Afro, quickly landing as one the most streamed singles on digital platforms with 14.5 million views on YouTube and 5.5 million streams on Spotify. Cachai continues to make a name for himself in Miami, as one of the most respected and recognized producers in the field.
The signing of Vladi Cachai follows a series of recent successes for peermusic Latin American. In 2023, peermusic named Elizabeth Rodda President, Latin America and Global Society Relations, responsible for overseeing peermusic’s Latin initiatives and repertoire across South America, Mexico and Central America.
